Are you a senior or are you the parents of a senior?  Preparing for college can be very overwhelming to say the least.  The key is to start preparing early.  Preparing for college can start as early as 7th grade.  That’s right! Your student can start taking the practice PSAT’s as early as 7th grade up until their 11th grade year when it becomes official. The PSAT which is the Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarships is only given twice per year once in the fall and the other in the spring.

Sophomore students should begin to take the SAT to see where they are and to get a fill of what to expected as they move forward.  There is no limit on how many times you take these test, the goal is to get the highest scores possible so qualify for the maximum amount of scholarships available.  The higher the scores the more competitive your child will be for qualifying for a full scholarship.
