Bright lights, festive music, and beautiful decorations everywhere you turn. Downtown Dallas knows how to start the season off in a big way. From the lighting of the Christmas tree to the unveiling of Nieman Marcus holiday windows it all seems to set in motion the holiday cheer.
This is the season where we get a warm feeling all over, the nostalgia that only Christmas can bring each year. Family traditions seem to take on a whole new meaning as you anticipate that final day December 25, Christmas Day.
However, there’s only one problem this is not your birthday, so why do you expect all the gifts? This holiday remember “Jesus” is the reason for this season, and because of his love he gave the perfect gift–His Son.
For God so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
God loved you so much he “gave” his only son a gift that would last forever. We to should find ourselves giving this holiday season. You ask, what can I give I do not have a job? Well, God gave himself, so start with yourself. Give your time, talents, and natural gifts by volunteering in the community this season. Donate to a women’s shelter, give your old cloths to a young girl who may be in need, or help feed the homeless whatever you do find yourself giving.
Happy Holidays.
